The Shoshone County Forest Health
Collaborative (SCC) was formed in
November 2009 in an effort to bring
together the diverse government
agencies, environmental advocacy
groups, private landowners, and
community members in order to address
the natural resource management needs
of Shoshone County. The members of the
SCC are working together to restore the
health of the public and private forests
within Shoshone County in a manner that
protects the environment, stimulates the
local economy, and provides for the
health and safety of the communities.
